LLM mention tracking and GEO for ecommerce
Tracking and improving how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews talk about your store.
LLM mention work starts with a baseline. We build a set of prompts that real buyers would ask, such as "best organic dog food for sensitive stomachs", run them across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews, and record which brands are named and which pages are cited.
Answers change between runs and between users, so we test each prompt several times and report how often you appear, not whether you appeared once. Then we work on the sources the models cite: listicles, press, review sites, community threads and your own pages. No one can promise a specific mention, and we do not.
Who this is for
Stores that want to know how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews describe them, and stores in categories where shoppers ask AI for recommendations.
What you get
- A prompt set built around your products
- A baseline report across five AI products
- A map of the pages being cited
- A monthly re-test and change report
- A content and placement plan to close the gaps
How it works
-
1
Build the prompt set
We write prompts based on your products and how customers actually phrase their questions.
-
2
Run the baseline
We run every prompt several times across five AI products and record brands named and sources cited.
-
3
Map the sources
We list the pages being cited for your category and decide which ones you can realistically appear on.
-
4
Act and re-test
We pursue listicles, press and page fixes aimed at those sources, then re-run the prompts monthly.
What we need from you
- A list of your main products and competitors
- Analytics access to see AI referrals
- Questions your customers ask support
What we do not do
- Promise a mention in any AI product
- Pay for fake reviews or forum posts
- Report one lucky screenshot as a result
LLM mentions and GEO questions
ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews. We can add others if your buyers use them.
Monthly by default. Answers vary by run, so each prompt is run several times and we report an appearance rate instead of a yes or no.
Yes. The baseline and source map are useful alone. Acting on them usually needs placements or site fixes, which we can scope separately.
