Conversion rate optimization (CRO) for ecommerce stores
Analysis and testing of product pages, collection pages, cart and checkout so more of your existing visitors buy.
CRO starts with finding where shoppers drop out. We read your GA4 funnel from collection page to product page to cart to checkout, split by device and traffic source, and review session recordings and heatmaps if you have them. A store that converts well on desktop and poorly on mobile has a different problem from one that loses people when shipping costs appear.
From that we write a ranked list of changes, each with the reason we expect it to help and the page it affects. We ship them as A/B tests when your traffic supports it, and as monitored before-and-after changes when it does not. We report results with the limits of the sample size stated, and we do not claim a lift we cannot show.
Who this is for
Stores that already get steady traffic but convert poorly, stores whose organic traffic is growing without a matching rise in orders, and stores about to spend more on SEO or ads that want their pages ready first.
What you get
- Funnel analysis by device and traffic source
- A ranked list of test ideas with the reason for each
- Recommendations for product pages, collection pages, cart and checkout
- A/B test setup and analysis where traffic allows
- A monthly results report
How it works
-
1
Check the tracking
We confirm GA4 records views, add-to-cart, checkout and purchase events correctly, because a test built on bad data proves nothing.
-
2
Find the drop-offs
We locate where visitors leave, by device, traffic source and page type, and look at recordings to see why.
-
3
Rank the ideas
Each idea gets a reason, the page it affects and an estimate of effort, and we start with the ones tied to the most revenue.
-
4
Test and report
We run A/B tests where traffic supports them, track other changes before and after, and report what happened with the sample size stated.
What we need from you
- GA4 access
- Store access or a developer to ship changes
- Your A/B testing tool, or approval to set one up
What we do not do
- Promise a conversion rate or a percentage lift
- Call a test proven when the traffic was too small
- Use dark patterns such as fake countdown timers or false scarcity
Conversion rate optimization (CRO) questions
You need enough orders on the tested page for a difference to be more than chance. A store with few orders a month cannot get a reliable A/B result in a sensible time. In that case we fix clear problems found in analytics and recordings, track the effect, and say plainly that it was not a controlled test.
Only with your approval. Checkout changes affect revenue directly, so we recommend them carefully and test where we can. Some platforms limit what can be edited at checkout, and we work within those limits.
No. We improve the pages on your store, including pages that ads point to, but we do not manage ad spend or run email campaigns.
